Thanks for posting this Bob. I joined up. It is nice to see some concern for the park's well being. It could use a little attention.

As the crow flys ........... across the river........... the park is only 5 miles from my house. I have ridden there a few times since I got back on a bike with a 21" front wheel in 2007, but what really matters to me is the fact that much of my miss spent youth was occupied by riding my Montesa there. If they close the park a little part of me will die, and I don't want that to happen. :|

I agree. That was the first park I ever rode at. The trails are not world class but I have a nostalgic attachment to the park itself. It would also be nice to see less random trash out there from people dumping.
