Chadwick Fall 2011 Photos

11 of us did a ride at Chadwick this past weekend. Perfect weather, ROUGH trails, campfires, and moto movies on a 10' screen! I have several broken parts on my bike that need replacing--Chadwick eats motorcycles!

Nice pictures however I never did not see a white 800 in any of them.

We did see a guy riding his relatively new KLR 650 on the trails. He is either stupid or very skilled. He had his dirtbike riding buddies help him lift the thing over the larger obstacles.

That was my 1st trip to Chadwick, didn;t know what to expect but heard it was rocky. That place will tear up a bike and body pretty quick if you do the tougher stuff, but I did manage to get home without any damage to either which was a minor miracle, (I did chunk out a set of S12's pretty good though). Everybody gets a punch on their Man-Card for that ride, it was a good time.

Looks like an awesome trip! Thanks for posting the photos. After being stuck with in laws all weekend, it is nice to live vicariously through others.

Great pics....looks like a few of the pics with the big rock ledges are, "Dairy Queen Hill (124A)", supposed to be the toughest trail at Chadwick....always a lot of bike parts along the sides of the trail!

Great photos! Obviously some very capable riders and some really nice bikes. Learned many valuable lessons riding enduros at Chadwick... #1, ...never gas it over a wet tree root.
#2, ...turn up the wick and hang on when the rocks get steep.
#3, ...remember, this is all about having fun...?

Ha! Actually, Kyle was riding really well at Chadwick--impressed me several times. In that photo, he looks like a trials rider, which you kind of have to be at Chadwick for many of the rocky climbs. At night we watched movies including Erzberg enduro and RedBull Romaniacs. You watch those guys and you realize how little you know about riding!

That place is a ball on a trials bike! Sold my KTM 'cause I know I couldn't ride those trails on it anymore. It sure ain't like it was 30 or 40 years ago,since they moved most of the trails up out of the creek bottoms. I now have two Scorpa Long Rides for trail riding, a smoker and a 4 stroke. Feet Up!
