Sat. Oct. 22 ride

Any one want to join me on a ride this sat. Oct. 22. I'm open to suggestions on where. I have some good places to ride in Anderson and surrounding counties. The area east of Garnett into Linn county is very senic right now with the fall colors.

Myself and a friend are riding out of Olathe Saturday to meet Larry for this ride. I hope some more of you guys can go on this one Saturday! Its going to be a nice weekend to ride.

Larry, I was looking forward to the creekk bed and some of the more challanging stuff you may have. As long as a KLR can get it done, I'm game

We can do the challenging stuff if you want. Dry creek beds are fun. It is not often that conditions offer us this many dry creek beds to ride.
crazy525exc you will like this ride if you can come along.
Don't let the challenging stuff scare anyone off the ride there will be plenty of normal riding and no will be thought any less of if they chose not to ride a short segment of off road.

I haven't ridden in quite awhile. Got on the bike the other day, and I felt like a beginner again.

Four of us met up at the airport and after a quick hanger tour of a rebuilt Aztek turbo prop we were off. We checked out several "dry" creek beds, various types of roads, some off road ventures and a few senic overlooks. We even visited a unique old graveyard. A little after 1:00 pm we arrived at my house where Dena had a picnic lunch of hot chili and ice cream prepared for us. Thank you Dena.
Thanks guys for riding with me. I enjoyed sharing the day and roads/off roads with you.

Glad you are ok. We back tracked the route looking for you to make sure you weren't laid up in a ditch or broke down.
