I wish I had that You-Tube video two years ago when I re-jetted my DRZ400S
That is an excellent video, however, keep in mind it is featuring the Mikuni BSR36 carb found on the S model. Your carb should be the Keihn and is a lot different. I don't have any experience with those carbs so I won't be much help...I do know that on the S model I find it impossible to turn the carb enough to remove the bowl on the bike. I just "pop" the whole carb off everytime I need to work on it.
You should have enough resources now to take on the project...just jump in there and do it!! BTW...XRNUT is right about those bowl screws...I would definately have a set of Allen head replacement screws waiting because you WILL strip out the head of at least one screw if they haven't been previously removed.

Great video, Thank you!
A guy gave me some great info on how to check your bike if you have the "correct" pilot and main jet. I think mine is good, but I think the needle is my problem. I also just checked my tire air pressure and they were both 0. That probably wasn't helping mpg.
These tires are much stiffer than my others so I couldn't tell they were flat.
