Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

Oxtar boots below cost

Post by Closeout Rusty »

I am selling most of the Oxtar boots I have in stock for below cost because they will soon be shipping the boots under their new brand name "TCX". Most of the boots will remain the same, but with different logos on them. I don't have many left, and they should go fast.

Here is a link if you want to check them out:

Thanks,

When I first got into dualsport riding 3 years ago, Rusty spent about an hour and a half with me helping me pick out appropriate gear. (Not that he didn't have an incentive!) At that time, he recommended the Oxtar Infinity boot to me. I'm still wearing them and I love them. I've beaten the crap out of them, and they have held up great. The boot offers a good level of protection while being comfortable to walk in and operate your foot controls. They are waterproof, too, which has been essential for my riding.

Note: I did find one defect--the waterproof nature seems to break down when you are waist deep in a raging stream crossing.

Actually they were still waterproof ... just that then that waterproof liner kept the water on the inside!!!!!! Squish, squish, squish.

I have a pair of Oxtar street boots (waterproof, breathable) that I used for >2.5 years commuting year-round on a 40 mile RT. Finally retired b/c the tread was almost gone. Kept my feet dry in all conditions. Two thumbs up.
