So I have had a 2007 ktm 990 adventure ABS since 08. Put about 40,000 miles on it. Love the bike. Have had 5 or 6 other ktm dirt bikes since 2005 and have always done all of the wrenching myself. I got a weird rear brake problem on my 990 and I am about ready to swallow my pride and throw in the towel and take it somewhere. Guessing the ABS is causing me some grief in getting the air out.
My question is who has the best ktm service in the area? I live in Belton so Freedom is close but no clue how often they touch these legacy adventure bikes. I guess Letko is still around as I have bought a few parts from them over the years as I always got a kick out of Jim.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with KTM's service in the metro area especially with the big LC8 bukes. Is there anyone else besides these two?
Thanks
Jim
