A good friend sent this to me today.

We had a power cut at our house this morning and my PC, laptop, TV, DVD, iPad and my new surround sound music system were all shut down.

Then I discovered that my mobile phone battery was dead and to top it off it was raining outside, so I couldn’t play golf.

I went into the kitchen to make coffee and then I remembered that this also needs power, so I sat and talked with my wife for a couple of hours.

She seems like a nice person.

Invest in your relationships. Time is the currency.

Haven't been able to ride at all with work, training and the boys. Long weekend down in the mountains is about all this spring. Thanks for the info Troy, really appreciated it a few weeks back, was a good time and the guys from MN went back moaning about the cold and "flat/boring" trails..

This here is happening more frequently at our house. Not because of power outages, but because we are darn near empty nesters. The oldest is off at college(well until this weekend, he moves back home!YA!) and the youngest is pretty active and gone a lot. So we sit there and look at each other and often wonder what the hell to do! We celebrate(I think that is the right word!) 25 years together this year, along with T-roy and his misses, so it'll be fun finding all of the things we can go do now with this "free" time!

Boy it's that ever true. You wake up 25 years later and the kids are gone and it's like who the heck is that woman in the kitchen...

We figured out what to do, in Rome now. Last week was Belgium, and Amsterdam was neat. Not saying travel is the fix, but you do need too get out and do things again. Even if it's two up gravel too castle rock.
