No email from the forum?

Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

GOOD NEWS, Quinton! You are receiving email from the forum now....I'm sure of it. I hacked into your Cox account and saw the message sitting in your inbox. ;)

This should solve the email notifications for ALL members. People still need to manage their subscriptions....and if you are notified for a topic, you don't receive any more notifications until you visit the forum. In this way, you don't get 10 emails for a busy thread during the day.

I made some configuration changes and played around a bit. I came up with a solution that works pretty well to easily upload photos--not as "dead simple" as I'd like, but...not hard at all.

Next time you create a post, notice the section just below the text area where you type your post. There is a tab titled "Upload attachment". You can upload a file from your computer. Now this part is not the most intuitive, but once you choose a file, you have to click the "Add the file" button. This will upload your image independent of submitting your actual post. Wait. Wait for the upload to complete. When it finishes, you'll see a "place inline" option. Place your cursor where you want it in your post message, then click "place inline". This will add an ATTACHMENT tag to your post to display the image.

Alternatively, if you don't use the "place inline" feature, your images will just show up at the bottom of your post.

Once you get that process down--it's easy to upload photos directly to the forum and include in your posts.

Why did I just get more than 100 emails from rideforum?
Also, why do they contain everyone's username and password?

Ok, just kidding.. ;)
New site design looks good Troy.
