Only selected this location because it's next to the theater. There are some nice hotels in the area if you don't want to make the long journey home after the movie.



(btw, I confirmed that this movie is NOT a "Fork & Screen" presentation--no meal in the theater and no part of the ticket price goes towards a food order.)

I don't know if advanced purchase is required. I doubt it---except the concern that it sells out. It's only one showing. I know previous moto-crowd focused movies with one-time showings have sold out locally before.

Looks like that's a Fork and Spoon theater?? If so, seems like eating first might not be in order?? It's also quite pricey for just a movie. Just sayin'.

I agree with you. I saw that, too, and that ticket price seems like the normal ticket price for Fork & Screen where $5 of your ticket applies towards your meal if you order....BUT....I emailed the folks and they replied to say that this is not in a dine-in theater. I guess it's an expensive ticket because it's a special, limited showing, and not through normal movie studio outlets.

Guess we'll find out. Worst case is I'm out the $5 I could have put towards a meal in the theater---and the food in there is not all that great. I'll survive paying a little extra for great BBQ.

It will be difficult for us to find each other since we don't know what we all look like! No worries I guess, but for what it's worth, I'll arrive by 6pm (I hope) and stand on the corner just S of the door until 6:05 or so to see if anyone wants to join us as a group.

I am 6', 190lbs with brown hair and my 9 year old daughter with long, brown hair will be with me.

Troy can you wear a pink scarf around your neck so it will be easier to see you? It will have to be bright because I won't make it to dinner. It will have to be bright enough that I can see you from the movie theater on Barry Rd by Zona Rosa....lol

The only surprise was the sons were not gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

What a big disappointment! Well dinner and the company before was very enjoyable. But for the movie I thought I went to the wrong theater and was watching a chic flick. There was maybe 4 min of riding, at a Rawhide school day, in the first 50 min of the film! I was a little worried when at the very beginning they said they had to "reshoot" some riding scenes 3 times to get the right shot. I wonder how many times they reshot the finish scenes were the women hugged them like they had been gone 8 months, not the 8 days. I will gladly spoil this for anyone who didn't see it! There was more video of them circle-jerk talking then there was riding. Two characters, the shrink and the dad, were competing for who could have the deepest, most profound, and self reflecting comment of the film. I agree with Jayhawkfan that the 2 boys both being straight was the biggest plot twist of the film, not that there's anything wrong with that.
Joe's bbq for dinner was good and the stories I heard of rides taking place in Norway and New Mexico was a lot better entertainment than the movie ever was. Those stories made me want to go ride! Thank you all for a very enjoyable evening!!!
