SCHOOL CREEK Sunday November 1st

Post by KC »

Getting a light rain here overnight to knock the dust down. Sunday's forecast calls for sunny and mid-70s on the first day of November!
Breakfast at the Junction City Cracker Barrel at 9:30AM then ride til whenever is my plan.

It was a fantastic turn out for breakfast this morning! I didn't know anybody but there were lots of people there eating breakfast. Got to ride with Daniel today for the first time. Only had 4 hours of good sleep after a midnight run to the ER with Baby Z. All things considered, I think I did an OK job of keeping up with the young man! It was a great day for some great riding.
Thanks Daniel!

Yes, we are good, thanks. Our 3 Year old had asthma/allergy attack we couldn't control. Poor guy was coughing for 8 hours, when he started throwing up, we threw in the towel! Literally and figuratively.
Going back to the specialist tomorrow in Topeka

Dang! Sorry to hear about that. Serious stuff man.

I was kind of thinking about going but one thing led to another. After I made breakfast and coffee for my wonderful wife, I was just messing around in the garage. "Well Halloweens over so I guess I can take down the Halloween décor" check "Well the extension cords are out so I guess I could blast some leaves out of the rocks" As you know, once you start blowing or raking leaves you're in trouble. Ended up blowing and raking lots of leaves.
"Well crap, now that a lot of the leaves are gone I suppose I should mow" check "Well crap, now that I got the engine nice and hot I suppose I should change the oil before winter" check

I got in a little bit of riding after a late lunch but after all that I had forearm pump before I even started so I got in a couple hours. :D
Ahhh, pre-mix!!

Oh man.. Sorry to hear about the struggles. Doesn't sound like a fair deal for the little guy. Our first child is 14 months and there isn't a day that goes by that am not thinking about all the potentials. Becoming a parent sure changes ones outlook on everything.
Hope everything works out well and your in our thoughts.
