north atchison area. starting in leavenworth, 9am where(?), - river road heading north and west. 20% chance of rain up there and 60F. Might need a rain suit coming home to KC area tho, or leaving too, even if not raining to keep yah warm. I got a montana and some tracks.
not enough day light to make it to nebraska and back (bummer, nice summer run). Just piddle on min main roads up there, return to Atch for dinner(?) at some riverside biker place or split. If too muddy or freeze-thaw muck there is always gravel. Some of those roads can be very rough&tough for the larger bikes. Armor, knee pads, spare tube, and stuff is good.

Quicktrip in Platte City - 9am! It might be too mushy on river road, Rook have to see, we might have to go west young man...down 92 towards Holton/Kickapoo area. Not much rain today there so its drier.

Thanks guys. I had fun!
Good thing I left when I did. My wife decided to give our son some soup at lunch and didn't check the ingrediants (don't ask me why!). Well he is alergic to milk protein. It's been a projectile vomiting kind of day!

Yep I had fun too . Ride home not so much . Really windy and 120-140 miles of highway . Not sure cuzy instrument cluster started screwing up again and reset my trip . Got home around 5:30 I think . Finally started raining witch actually helped visibility .

I did too. The roads where alot "nicer" than last time. I think msjr got it right, they were worked before harvest. But even with the rain later it was a nice day even with tho visit with the police was a bit strange but none the worse. I will have to shorten that course for a border run to Nebraska with a stop in Holton for gas.
Watching you guys just cruise through that mud and not having it stick to your tires, as was mine, is sign that I am changing tires. Tired of dumping in mud. The K60s just don't clear mud that well & it was plenty evident looking from tire to tire out there. Its either TKCs or E07s.
Hope the kid is better fbj, food allergies to suck.

- was rain most likely. Did it do that also when you dumped it in the stream in colorado? Mine did after a few mud holes last time in Ark with these guys last month. It just wigged out for a bit. I have also found that if I get stuck on a steep hill of loose gravel, stop/crash, and then really spin the rear tire up in that loose stuff and kill it a few times, it can start throwing codes, reset trip1, and then function fine later. Had to turn the key off/on a few times.cluster started messing up
