Gotta love Craigslist buyers! It looks like I'm back in for this ride. My potential buyer called tonight and said he wasn't going to make it down Saturday after all (shocking, I know). At least he didn't wait until I'd cancelled my weekend plans to let me know though!

I'll see you guys in Ozark Saturday morning. Btw, our cats should be okay while I'm gone, but thanks for the concern.

I may be able to fix seal in time if part shows up tomorrow as promised. I understand the meeting place/time and general route but is it a big loop back to KC in a day or do you plan to overnight somewhere?

CL buyers are in the upper tier of responsibility if they call before they don't show up. Have you adverised on forward motion and some of the other cycle clubs? You might contact John with the Akansas Razorback Cycle club. I'm always amazed at the rigs that are used just to ride cycles.

Bring the cats....I've got an extra pannier bag.

Overnight for sure. Meeting at Ozark Mo Saturday morning then riding across Southern Missouri to however far we get. Sunday we will be looping back to Ozark.

Hope you get your seals in time and can make it. Do you know how to replace for seals?

It was a great time. TMOT is definitely a blast. These pictures don't do the place justice at all.

Maybe Steve has some stills of the creek crossings and panoramic sights from his helmet cam that we flew past?

Randy you did a great job plotting this and keeping us moving.

Numerous little creeks out there. Some were very slick. But that was typical for both days.


Rain & more rain in the morning. So we wait it out and only hit a few sprinkles later. I was a bit worried about the numerous creeks to cross Sunday and how much higher they would be now after hours of rain (turns out not at all & most of where below the bridges Sunday). The slick clay stuff was actually worse than the crossings.


The rain ends and the dog marks the bikes.


Couple of dirty guys looking for a nice restaurant...


Interesting little family event camp - like a dirty dancing kind of place with trout. We ate in nice place & waited to check Randy's tire pressure again to make sure it would hold before driving off for the truck&trailer in Ozark.
