I have been lurking here for a while. I am transitioning back from the street to dual sport. I have been off of DS bikes for several years, but excited to be back. I live in the NE corner of kansas and just bought a 08 KTM 950 Super Enduro. I bought it while working back east and can't wait to get it home. It should be here by next friday.

It's rear shock is weeping slightly and would like to get it serviced, where is the best place to take it? Hope to get to meet some of you this summer.

Welcome to the forum! Back before I bought my 990, I was shopping those Super Enduros, but my 990 came along first so I ended up with it. Those Super Enduros are awesome bikes!

As for your suspension question, I just got my forks and shock back from Super Plush Suspension in San Francisco and they were awesome to deal with. They set your stuff up exactly for you based upon your riding ability, weight, style, etc. I got my 990 done for a little less than $1000, including all the shipping. They sent me a box, I removed the suspension and sent it back, they worked their magic and then shipped it back to me. It was a very easy process.

Assuming that your suspension is stock and original, you're most likely overdue for an overhaul anyhow, so it might be worth getting it all done and done right.

Actually that is what i was planning on doing. I am a suspension snob i guess it is left over from my track days. However this bike has already be revalved and upgraded for my weight. I am going to ride it for a while to see how it works before i jump to sending it off again. Right now the rear just needs a simple service. Wasn't sure who in KC was set up to service them.

I am guessing most any motorcycle shop "could' do it but I know the only authorized LC8 dealers\service centers in the metro area are Freedom Cycles in Grandview, Mo and Letko cycles in Olathe, Ks. Maybe someone in Topeka as well.

CycleZone in Topeka did my 950 last fall both rear and front service
