I have been lurking for a while, and thought I would say Hi! Ran into a ADV guy on a KLR in the parking lot of the office (LFDKansas) and he mentioned this site, so here I am.
I picked up a KLR last year, and have been doing some gravel road exploration in Northeast KS (LV, AT, JF counties). I rode some dirt bikes as a kid, but nothing where I learned any skill. I have been riding street bikes (cruisers and sport-tour) for about 10 years, and this is my first dual sport. There are just so many good gravel/dirt roads in the area that I couldn't resist the opportunity to explore those too!
Hopefully next summer I will get to meet up with some of you guys!

Hi MIke! I got the ADV KC phototag in Muscotah a while back. Rode out of Atchison 2 wks ago on up to Rulo and came back to MO on the new bridge.
