Its been a few years but i have been there in my Jeep. It was kinda boring for the jeep but its far from stock. A dual sport ride would be fun there. Nothing real hard but not to easy. I dont think I would take a dirtbike there. Every where is worth going once!

I have been there three times, twice with DS bikes. All times with some highly modified Jeeps, LandCruiser (FJ40), Dodge Cummins, and other 4WDs.

I disagree with the boring part. There is quite a range of terrain, with challenges for all. We had fun on the bikes except the time it poured rain for a day. We still found stuff that was rideable, but the bottom area, which is the meeting point for a lot of the trails was a mud bog.

I stopped riding each day b/c I was tired, not for lack of stuff to ride.

You will find:
ATV trails.
rocky trails.
ledges that will give a lifted 4WD trouble.
shore line, if Tuttle is low. (we made it from the campground to the area one time ... Tuttle was really low.)
steep climbs and drops (both dirt and rock).
countour following trails.

Be sure to go toward the "back" as you will find a lot back there.

You can camp at the state park just north (west side of lake) of the bridge. No running water there. In Randolph is a gas station / everything store that has most everything. Not much for groceries however. They have allowed us to use their faucet to fill our water jugs when camping. Nice folks own/run it.

The cafe in town was undergoing remodeling a year or so ago. Good breakfasts when open.

I haven't ridden Milford, but have ridden Perry ATV area. I like Randolph better.

The KC Jeep club goes out to Randolph every so often. Find out their schedule and DON"T go that weekend.

I ment boring for my Jeep but its 1ton running gear with 39.5 inch tires. I do think it would be fun on a dualsport but a dirtbike I would lean toward somewhere with more challenges like Chadwick.

I would recommend that you try it!! I went once this past fall with my bike and found a wide variety of terrain. Try it, you'll like it.

No prob.
I live by the trails in Manhattan, so if anyone wants to ride at them, Randolph or School Creek LMK. I'm game.
