Ride Destination Wednesday April 4th KLR's and all others

I am inviting anyone interested in a ride and get together to come to my place on Wednesday April 4th. I will have Hot dogs on the grill by 5:30 or so and anyone is welcome to stop by whenever they can and stay as long as you like. I live up by Smithville Lake so hopefully you can find good routes to get here. My address is 5811 NE 160th Street Smithville, MO 64089. Mapquest that address and you will get a decent map. I have plenty of room for everybody so pass the word. Hope you can make it. Tom

This sounds like good fun to me, too. I'll strap a lawn chair on the ole' DR350 and cruise up....assuming life doesn't change my plans.

Can we bring anything? Or perhaps pitch in some cash?

I don't know if I'd be able to make that long of a trip from lawrence on a wednesday. I would definatley like get out on the bike and hang out with some real motorcyclist. Too many H-D riders in Lawrence. Glad at least Flasher only lives 2 miles away.

But that lawnchair can go any where our U R peeing bikes go even with the bent handle bars

I just don't want to think the type of rider Troy would be with say a KTM or Husqvarna 450, we would never see him except for his dust!

If anybody wants to meet and ride up together I will be at the CVS at Barry Road and Green Hills. We will probably want to leave about 6-6:15
I will be on a red KLR on the east side of the building. We can backroad all the way to 92.

Thanks Tom, it was good to see everybody that made it! Should we try to do this the first wed. night of the month? With longer days around the corner maybe we can do a ride also. Next time hopefully the weather will be a little warmer. A little chilly on the ride home!

Really sorry I missed out, guys. I'm in the home stretch to having my baby girl, Rachel. Understandably, my wife is starting to have a lot of discomfort and contractions, so I'm getting less comfortable with leaving her alone for entire evenings. I'm pretty much out of the action for a few months.

This is both a sad and joyous thing. Sad to be missing my buddies and some good riding. Joyous to be entering a new chapter in my life and meeting my kid.

Sorry I couln't make it. Just got back from Sunny L.A. California and was not looking forward to being out in the cold for a couple days. Did drool over the desert as I was flying over it. So many roads down there that just look awsome. Took some pictures of it just to remind me of how much fun it will be in my dreams.
