5-27 to Rulo Nebraska?

I am going to go Sunday to Leavenworth and head north. Leavenworth, Atchison, White cloud and if things go well Rulo Nebraska and then back down the slab on the east side. No set route at this point. Leaving from Platte City Sunday AM. If someone wants to go with let me know. I am holding my breath we get no more rain today.

It was a solo trip but its in the books. 194 miles, Leavenworth, Atchison, Hiawatha, White Cloud, Rulo, part of the Riverbreaks and then back to Platte City.
I used my Dualsportmaps and HTC Evo and it worked well. Thansk to those that have put down tracks I ran portions of many and had a great time.

Cool, was up that way a few weeks ago north of Forest City to check out an old house Phil Denk posted a pic of. Last weekend was the ADV SLAP rally, good times until my buddy broke his leg.

A broken leg would SUCK no doubt, I hope he gets better. I was reading a little about it over on ADV. That old boy that was riding that old bike, shorts and no cap cracked me up. I must say I did get in two spots that I thought to myself " If I go down and get hurt I am on my own here" I have to get more involved and ride with a group, safety in numbers.
