We missed a lot. That gives us a reason to do it again.

We did a little exploring in the Omaha Indian Reservation. It was mostly dirt roads. The riding is good!

I'll write more later, but this was a great dual sport ride. Eddie found plenty of mm roads from Missouri to South Dakota, not all as well groomed as the one in the already posted pic. I only found one rut to drop my front end into.

Lot's of great places to go back and spend more time exploring.

Thanks Eddie!

Are those rutted roads considered county roads! That's the kind I hate coming up on at a pretty good clip and boom baby! Let the the next 8 seconds be your personal rodeo ! Hang on !

Lol!

Love it!

Chris, I enjoyed riding with you and look forward to doing it again.

We went North following the east side of the MO River and then south on the West. We road about 750 miles over 3.5 days.

Nice pics! That makes me jealous of the ride, looks pretty dry, I take it no rain up north this weekend only when you left.

I have not pounded more than 158 miles in one day on my bike, yes call me noob, my bike is not a pavement pounder, but soon as my boat gets paid off, I will add a better pave pounder to my collection.

How many miles a day did you guy click on the odometer ?

About 750 miles. We did very little pavement. On trips like this I route about 200 miles a day.

Thanks for sharing Eddie. Looks like some very interesting places to visit and ride. Will be adding that area to the bucket list. What was the single track down the ridge?

That caught your eye, too, eh?! I first thought the deck-looking structure you can barely see in the photo was the 4-corners lookout up at White Cloud, but I've been there many times, and there is not a ridge or trail like that there.

I definitely recognize this road and this spot....this is looking mostly due West and the road has an S curve to the S and back W. I have the same photo somewhere. Those roads up there are very interesting and remote. You guys are lucky the rain did not make it that far up! Those roads are not doable wet.

Really glad you 2 had a good adventure! :D

That is a hiking trail at Loess Hills State Forest. It starts at the Loess Hills Overlook.

Rain would have prevented us from riding about 25% of the roads we were on.

The Winnebago and Omaha Indian Reservation needs to be explored. There are miles and miles of remote dirt roads between Highway 75 and the Missouri River. The roads are all dirt with lots of twists and elevation changes. None would be passable if wet.

I agree with Eddie, those roads in the forest on the Omaha reservation are cool. Can't wait to go back.

Here are some of my photos.

Neat pics, was the spring by the road and was it a public use?
