So I spent about an hour shoveling driveways with the neighbors. I worked up a good sweat inside my Fieldsheer riding suit--man that thing keeps your warm. I figured what better way to cool off than a nice ride around the yard--in over a foot of snow!

The fuel-injected TE450 would fire right up, but would only run for a second or two then die. I kept trying, but did not want to run the battery down or put undo wear on the starter. So my neighbor (a big kid like me) brought his blast heater over. We warmed the motor and oil for about 10 minutes. That was all she needed!
A few laps around the street to get her and myself warmed up.
The I tried the lap around the yard. Honestly, I did not expect to get through as the snow was probably 18" in some places. But I found that 2nd gear and enough revs kept the bike moving nicely.
It was a blast. I'd love to have about a foot of snow in a field large enough to open her up in 3rd and 4th gear. It's really fun to ride in the snow. Ice, not so much.
