I always thought the Buell Blast was a great little beginners bike, although I've never actually ridden one. Used ones can be picked up really cheap. Monica rode one when she went through the Harley Riders Course. She thought it was "jumpy" and "unpredictable". She wrecked it on the last day and almost broke her tibia bone, had a pop-knot the size of a baseball. That was the last time she has ridden a motorcycle and we sold her Honda Nighthawk a few months ago.
