Seriously: How many years ago was that? Troy and Kyle were on KLRs. I seem to remember that Kevin was on a DR650 or similar. Quite a while ago. Good memories from all of the rides between ... To my non-biker friends I refer to all of you as "the guys I picked up on the internet." :-)

Good luck Kevin ... But push for keeping the DRZ. Now she wants a bike ... hardly seems fair you have to give up one! Of course she may not understand that a DRZ and a HD have quite different purposes.

Kevin,

FYI: Your RideForum.NET login account will auto-expire within 10 days of selling your last dualsport motorcycle. :P

Troy, you drive a hard bargain. I guess I will have to keep one around.
I really have been considering selling the DRZ for more of a adventure bike, V Strom, KLR, GS650, etc...
But will wait to see how serious the wife is about learning to ride.
Riding on the back of the Harley with me should make anyone want to get their own.

Kevin, I often daydream of riding on the back of your Harley, the powerful motor vibrating between my legs. Just a couple of guys and the open road, the wind in our hair, and my arms wrapped tightly around you. Ahh..good times, my friend.

I realize this is a thread about where Kevin is going to sleep if he doesn't sell his Suzuki, but I wanted to change direction slightly.

I got four bites on the KLR this past weekend, and the first person to come by and look at it gave me my asking price. I couldn't believe it. I never even got a chance to get it dirty. I did make a fair profit though, and the guy got a nice bike for his money.

The good news for the KLR guys here is I have a pair of spare engine covers I don't need anymore. I'll put details and photos in the classifieds in case you're interested.

Hey, get your own thread--don't hijack this one. Oh yeah...this IS your thread.

Nice! Good to hear the dualsport market is strong! I put a helmet on craigslist last Fri evening. One hour later, a guy had put the money in my PayPal account and another person was wanting to buy it. He picked up the helmet next morning.
