Chadwick is a mess this year

Just got back from a week at Chadwick and the spring rains have really rutted most of the trails out badly. There are also many trees blocking or forcing rerouting on most trails. It rained Monday and Tuesday morning. This water was still running off the ridges all week. The guys I ride with, have been going there for over 25 years and they say they have never seen it this bad.
I managed to return with only a sore knee and busied forearm.
Did get in about 150 mile dual sport ride down to Table Rock lake and back on Thursday.

Glad you made it back OK Kevin. Had planned to be down there with you guys, but had to back out at the last minute. Sure would have liked to have been able to have done the dual-sport ride to Table Rock with you. Is everybody else OK down there ? Tent camping in the rain, takes a little of the fun out of it, huh ? Do you have any pictures ?

Sorry Bill, but no pic's from the trails. The rain was no big deal as far as the tents go. Now I left Friday afternoon, so I don't know how much they got yesterday and today. Duane Davis hurt his back on his KLR 650 prior to us leaving on the dual sport ride, but other than that, I think everyone else is good.
I believe, most of them are staying until Tuesday or Wednesday.

I rode down there last year on my KLR and did most of the trails. I thought it was pretty washed out and there wasn't much vegitation holding the trails together. Maybe some areas need a bit of time off...
