Motorcycle Races - Heartland Park, Topeka

This weekend, both Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, there are professional motorcycle road races at Heartland Park in Topeka. The races start each day at 10:00 a.m. with practice prior to the start of the races. The races are ASRA Pro Series, ASRA Team Challenge, and Championship Cup Series races sponsored by Motosport.com. I think the admission is about $10.00 each day. The cool thing is that you sign a release and you are admitted to the infield area. From there you can observe the teams preparing their bikes, talk to the riders and travel around the infield to observe various parts of the track. In years past you could ride or drive in to the infield, giving you quick and easy access to wherever you want to go. I expect that practice will continue.
