Was able to go to both rounds of the EnduroX in Denver and then Guthrie OK last weekend. Fantastic racing at both races. If you're not familar check out their website. You get to see the best offroad racers in the world from your seat. David Knight,KTM, proved why he's the best there is by winning both nights. If he can win in Vegas in Nov. he'll get a $50,000.00 bonus.
The track layout in Denver seemed to favor the trials bikes but Guthrie's layout was much bigger and faster so the enduro bikes had the advantage. It's great to see some of the older riders being sucessful. Damon Huffman came out of retirement and finished 3rd in Denver and 2nd in Guthrie. John Dowd was last years winner at the only round at Vegas.
Every kind of offroad bike from desert, MX, enduro, trials, etc. One rider tried to qualify on an XR650R with lights and a plate and was able to complete some laps. Amazing!
If you ever get a chance to go, plan on spending the whole day watching the qualifiers etc. Very entertaining!!
We've got our tickets for the final in Vegas in Nov.
Also, planning to go to Last Man Standing down in north TX in Dec. Another race dominated by David Knight and KTM.
