Kawasaki Versys...My $0.02

I took a ride Saturday over to the Illinois side (I am in Iowa now )to look at the new Versys since my dealer here can not seem to get one in. He did not give me a price on my KLR which was okay, I was not going to buy the Versys. I just brought him in pics and a list of extras for him to get a baseline.
I think it's a GREAT bike to commute/romp around town on. Plenty light feel even though it's similar to the KLR in overall weight. Just a lower seat height and better balanced. Seat felt good to me. Fuel Injection would be NICE! Not a lot of wind protection is my only critisism (other than it only coming in red and I HATE red), but I did not ride it, so that may be moot. Not like the KLR is great. I think if you don't get out of town much and use your KLR more for commuting, this is a great bike. After almost 20K on the KLR I hope to never ride one again
Going to just stick with the VFR for now and tour on it, but wanting something along the lines of an FJR if I can swing it and go with my friend Tim on long hauls around the US. KLR is in the paper here in Iowa, hope I get some real bites this week.
