I went and had a great time...

My buddy Terry and I went on our KTM's. I would bet we had the only two dualsport bikes there, and I'm sure I didn't see any other KTM's. I even got a photo of my bike with a cute model lying across it.

Anyway, it was a great time. Got to see a bike do under 8 seconds in the 1/4 mile at nearly 190 mph! Everyone was very friendly and had a huge variety of bikes. It was very much a carnival type atmosphere, which I would say is a good thing.

The Roundup will be here again in 2017, so put it on your calendar now!

A buddy of mine on a zx7r and I on the gsxr went there on sat night. It was a different atmosphere for sure, but the racing was cool. Watched a busa run a 9 with the front end in the air for halve the track! I would hate to try and get in if you werent on a bike they were letting us around the cars and I bet I passed 100 cars waiting to get in. All in all I would go back.
Anything with wheels is inherently dangerous. If you are concerned about your safety & well-being, I suggest walking, as a safe alternative
