Mint Mobile

Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

Mint Mobile

Post by troy »

Shameless plug for Mint Mobile. I switched 2 weeks ago. It was SUPER easy to migrate my number to Mint. $15/mo gives me unlimited talk & text and 4GB data. Website and mobile app make it easy to buy additional GB if I ever need a little more in a month. 10GB for $20/mo, and "Unlimited" for $30/mo.

Mint runs on the T-Mobile network. It's working great for me, but if you are someone who is out in the boonies a lot, you probably want to stick with Verizon if you have that.

If you use this referral link, you get $15 towards your bill and I get free Mint, too.

T-Mobile doesn't work at all in remote Utah and Arizona. It does work better than other carriers in Europe. I had great luck traveling by Ducati in Italy in remote areas.

I just used your link for the introductory offer of get 3 months free with 3 months with the 4gb. I was previously using T Mobiles basic talk and text only for $20/mo. This is for my "back up" on call phone for work after my other phone didn't work once in the middle of the night.
I hope you get the credit. It didn't ask for anything.

My 3 month "trial" is up and I just renewed with Mint Mobile. I chose to pay 12 months in advance. This got my monthly price for 4GB data down to $15. That is $180 for a year of 4GB/mo data and unlimited call & text. NOT BAD. Still, if you travel in the countryside a lot, you should probably stick with your Verizon plan!

Sign up and give me a free month credit like Ryan did.
