Ticks hate tea tree oil

I enjoyed the Butler County Gravel Days this past weekend. I followed ajayhawkfan around the Flint Hills--had a great time as always when he leads. I put 520 miles on my F800GS.

I also arrived home with a couple of ticks embedded. My wife read that a drop of tea tree oil will make them release....and son-of-a-gun, it works fantastic. Tea tree oil will be my go-to for tick removal in the future.
