I thought the joke was going to be that the system is a rider actually paying attention--that the "system" is the rider's senses and brain.

Now that I see how this technology works, I'll take 2! Thanks for sharing!

Remember when the safety crats in Washington under Joan Claybrook came up with the safety cycle? It injured their own staff rider on its first outing. The concept was pushed by NHSA. After the accident the idea was dropped.
