"Why is RIdeForum Down?"
Posted: 10 Jul 2018 09:28
Over the last few weeks enough people asked me or otherwise indicated the site was not working that I had to assume there was a real issue affecting a significant portion of the audience.
A while back, the site went 100% SSL (HTTPS). When I made that change, I messed up the bit that redirects http:// requests to https://. Thanks to the magic of the Chrome browser automatically redirecting me, I never noticed this problem before.
The issue has been resolved. Hopefully those folks who thought the site was down for a few weeks will come back to see we are still alive!
So tell a friend. Friends don't let friends leave RideForum.NET.
