01-07 KTM RFS countershafts no longer available ... choose front sprocket wisely

A few of us are still riding these older KTMs.

From past (other) KTMTalk posts, some front sprockets aren't a tight fit with the countershaft splines and the slop will wear out the CS splines. Street use with street tires without a cush hub as well. As KTM has no more stock (and nobody is making an aftermarket CS), make sure your replacement CS Sprocket fits snugly. Some have suggested using sleeve retainer (seems to be beefy anaerobic thread lock) on the splines.
