Mechanic needed for mini truck

I have a Suzuki mini truck that needs some work. It has a 660 engine that runs for a while and then dies. After waiting a few minutes it will start right up, run for 30-45 minutes and die again.
I'm looking for someone that is willing to work on the truck to get it running properly again.
Please email me at ajayhawkfan @ yahoo . com if interested.
Thanks,
Eddie

I can come take a look at it. My diagnostic fee is $500, and there are no guarantees. That fee does not apply towards the actual repair.
I can tell you that my diagnosis is usually to tell you "you need to find a mechanic", but at least you have confidence in your original thought at that point.

Troy, if Larry didn’t speak up you would have had a deal.

He can't get to it for a couple weeks. Anyone else have an idea?

This sounds a lot like the issue Troy is having with his F800. (That thread is on this forum, near the top.)
My "sitting at my computer" diagnosis while thinking of what is cheap and easy ... is vacuum in the gas tank caused by plugged up venting. When it stalls, immediately remove the gas cap and listen for a suction "whoosh". If you hear that and the engine restarts immediately, you might want to consider "throwing" a new gas cap on the Suzuki and hope it fixes the problem. (Or run it with the gas cap loose and see if the problem doesn't return.)
Take the old gas cap to an auto parts store and they should be able to match it. Gas cap might not be the cause, but $10 to save the hassle of hauling, etc. could be worth it.

That is worth a try. The cap is very old and gets a lot of dirt and mud thrown on my its tires.

Where are the coils located? Sometimes when they start to go bad, they work until they get hot. After they cool down, they start working again.
The gas cap idea previously mentioned came to mind as well because you said that it starts back up after a few minutes. Not sure the coils would cool down that fast, but maybe.
