Are you riding this Labor Day weekend?

Pretty strange--for me at least--to be sitting here on the Thur before a 3 day Labor Day weekend with no riding plans. Stranger than that, I don't find any area ride events posted up for this weekend.
I want to ride, but I really should do some work on the KTM 500 before hitting trails. My F800 has a small oil leak, but not enough to keep me from riding it for 3 days.
Maybe I'll throw the camping gear on the bike and take off.
What are you doing?

Thinking about Perry. It will be crowded with ATVs this weekend. It is mostly an ATV / hare scrambles guy place now since erosion has been severe this past spring & summer.

Yeah, no thanks--I'll avoid Perry on a holiday weekend. Avoid the lake for the same reason.

Heading out there now. I'll let you know how bad it is. Usually it is full of fairly irresponsible quadtards who zip up and down the access road at high speed and race in the parking lot. All without helmets.

Troy,
There were 5 cars out there. Most people were on ATVs. I never encountered anyone on the trails. I did encounter surprise mud holes that were bottomless, washed out areas that defied description and spider webs clearing unridden trails. You have no excuse for not riding there regarding the number of people out there. You do have an excuse for incredibly rough trails since our over active spring and summer rains made a mess of things.
Want to go out there Monday?
