What not to do:
1. When your buddy is injured, first thing to do is grab your camera.
2. When impaled, by all means open the wound.

Oh my gosh. I'm not trained in that stuff at all, but I know not to rip out the 2" diameter stick that has punctured your body and surely ripped arteries open. Once in, it's the only thing plugging the hole and keeping you alive. Of course adrenaline in the moment can account for all kinds of stupid. :-o

Troy you nailed it! One should never remove an impaled object unless it is blocking an airway like a stick through a cheek, not a butt cheek. Also if the impaled object is blocking CPR access. If you do remove the object be ready to control the bleeding.
