Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

Videos from our summer adventure to Colorado.

Post by TopoGS »

Serhan and I did some adventuring in Colorado in late August/early September. We had a great time. Here are some videos from the trip.

Here's my blog of the trip with some more pics and ramblings.

THANKS FOR SHARING! I love your use of a blog for the ride report--works great.

I enjoyed your Day 10 on Ophir Pass

I rode up the West side on my F800GS loaded heavy with camping gear. It is steep and a bit sketchy with the grapefuit and larger rocks and narrow path with sheer drop-off. It's just steep enough that if you get stopped (and I did more than once), it's tricky to get going again...and you sure don't want to get your front wheel pointed toward the edge!

A guy on a loaded Tenere came up behind me without struggling much, so I felt a bit wussy considering my lighter weight and better suspension.

Sorry you broke your clutch lever, but many times, that is the best part of ADVENTURE. Your Ridgway story is a great example of that. While in Ridgway, did you also get a chance to look into the building where they make the Grammys? They make the solid gold Grammy awards right there in Ridgway, and the building wasn't even locked. 3 guys in there working on them. I guess once a year an armored truck shows up to take the awards to California for the show.
