Has anyone used a local vendor for a well priced Scott's Steering Stabilizer? I found a few different vendors online but I would like to support someone local if there is someone around people have had good experience with. Thanks!

Nick

We are set up as a Scotts dealer at LCC in Liberty. We don't have any in stock but can get you one. I just ordered mine a couple months ago and really like it. Any questions in particular?

It's not Scotts, but Emig racing is in Grain Valley, I believe. Jeff manufactures everything there so that would definitely be supporting local.

Thanks for this, mauoule. I just called and talked to the guy at Emig Racing. I'm going to take my old 99 KTM 300 EXC forks to him for rebuild.

Note his steering stabilizer price on his website is WAY wrong. Package with stabilizer and underbar mount is more like $600. Sounds like they make a good, high-quality product.

This would be SWEET on my F800GS! Christmas is just around the corner, guys! Come on!

Emig Racing I believe is owned by Jeff Emig's father. For those of you who don't Jeff won, I think, 4 national MX titles back in the 90's. Just an FYI....

The guy at Emig Racing is Jeff's dad, Gary. Gary is an accomplished machinist and suspension specialist. I've been considering converting my Big Red Pigs conventional forks to usd forks for which Gary makes custom triple clamps and an axel that allows you to use the stock odo driver so you don't have to go the Trail Tech computer route. Check out his web site, beautiful billet aluminum parts.

Jeff was a national champion and two of the best races I ever saw were the SuperCross in St. Louis in 1997 where he snapped McGraths winning streak and when the national championship came down to the last race at Steel City in Delmont, PA in 1996 which Jeff won over McGrath. I was on the fence watching and you could have thrown a blanket over the two of them every lap both motos it was the best national I've ever seen personally.
