Met Cory West in E. Springs, AR over the Labor Day weekend. He's spun up a new guide service for dual-sport/adventure and also does Mountain Bike tours. Besides being a great guy a sponsored BMW Superbike rider, he does trail services in the area and knows all the little "nooks and crannies". A great guy if anyone is looking for a no-hassle, bikes provided service in one of the best on/off-road riding areas in the country. Check out Froggy's Tours at

Wow this looks like a great service. A couple of us were kicking this idea around a few years ago and it just didn't seem feasible. I hope it works for him, but $75.00 a day isn't cheap. I wonder what he would charge for a group of 5-10?

I definitely think Cory would work with you on the price/packages. He's focused on building his brand and bringing awareness to his business. We have a place down there and he's offered to give a "trial" ride sometime if your interested. Again, I think his focus is on bringing attention to his service and getting the word to spread.

Maybe he could be a sponsor of the greatest dual sport website ever, Rideforum.net! That would be a good way to get his brand out to the KC area riders.

Hey guys. It's funny that I stumbled upon this page right after I sent Troy a message to ask if I could promote a very similar business. The only difference is that it's my business and not word of mouth... I didn't want to step on any toes so stay tuned. I know of Corey and actually one of his old competitors is planning to help me out. More to come

This is awesome to see on here, Motomann! I wasn't sure if I should help Cory advertise on here or not, but it appears that you've done it for me with your post.
The West boys (Cory and his dad Denton) are good dudes and have been personal friends of mine since my wife and I moved to Eureka Springs (actually Holiday Island) back in the summer of 2014. Cory has been working on getting Froggy up and running while simultaneously working a couple of other jobs- he's back to road racing on a semi-professional level and he is also a member of IMBA's Arkansas Epic Trail Crew which is responsible for overseeing and carrying out maintenance on our 5 IMBA Epic trail systems throughout the state. The guy loves being on 2 wheels, which must be why we get along so well!
Anyway, its cool to see you guys talking about it and hopefully you'll consider giving Froggy some business in the future. If you're on the fence about spending the cash, I personally feel that the cost is worth getting to hang out with a professional motorcycle racer- how often does that happen for fans and enthusiasts of a sport?
Motomann- I see that you said you have a place down here. Shoot me a PM on here and we can do some riding when you're in the area. I live in Holiday Island and am usually up for some riding.

Hey Josh! Your website and business look like they're going to be awesome! Good luck with getting it up and running and I'll keep an eye out for updates.

I knew the guy who ran the dualsport adventure store in ES wanted to sell and move to Jasper. I see he did sell and opened the same business in Jasper:
http://www.arkansasadventurerider.com/
Did the West boys buy the old ES location? The address on their Facebook page appears to be their home outside of town.
Thanks for posting up about this, motomann. Thanks for the additional detail, Kendall!

Arkansas Adventure Rider is Larry the Hippy's business. I've known him for over 10 years since he owned the same store in Manhattan, KS back when I used to live there. He left Kansas and moved to Gateway, AR,then on to ES, and now has moved to Jasper. He closed up shop in the ES location, so there is nothing left of the business here anymore. The business that the Wests run is totally separate from Arkansas Adventure Rider.
Cory and his dad have been in the area full-time since the early 90's I believe. Cory's grandmother owned the building that the family shop is currently in (Adventure Mountain Outfitters) and she had a sort of "Frog sanctuary" business where she displayed and sold frog-themed collectibles. Hence the name "Froggy's Moto Tours" for Cory's business. In addition to Cory's moto tour business, Denton has a couple of vacation rentals in town and also rents mountain bikes, kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards, as well as provides shuttle services for the boat rentals. A person could actually contact the Wests and do an all-inclusive ES adventure vacation if they wanted to- lodging, river trips, mountain biking, and motorcycle riding all under one roof!

Kendall, when do you start working for them as a mountain bike & dualsport guide? You'd be great at it if you weren't such an a-hole. Wait, that's me. You'd be great!

I would, but I am in fact way too much of an a-hole! I only work for free when it comes to two wheelers- I'd hate for it to start feeling like a job. Ha!
