This is a long-shot, but...
If any of you happen to be riding around NW Missouri and see a yellow semi truck sitting in a field or along a road, etc, snap a photo if possible and send my way with the coordinates.
A truck driver ran off with the truck June 2013. He lives in Princeton, MO, has an address in Cainsville, associates in Eagleville, and ex-wife & kids in Ridgeway. (All in that NW corner of Missouri.)
He also took my 53' enclosed trailer: Old, beat-up, white, wood floor, fiberglass roof panels to let light in. Basically it looks like the other 10 million laying around everywhere.
I continue to offer a $500 reward for information leading to my possession of the truck.

So when did Troy become a trucker?

Re: Stolen: Yellow Freightliner Columbia semi truck
Technically, never. I purchased the rig in May 2013 and setup a driver as an Owner/Operator. My involvement was not much more than that of a bank that might finance your car. As the operation took in money, I was to get a percentage until I made my money back plus interest...never saw a penny and he cut off all communication with me end of last July.MacWildcat wrote:So when did Troy become a trucker?
We have reason to believe the rig was still in tact in that area as recent as 3 or 4 weeks ago.
There's more to the story of course, and I'm not at liberty to go into them. HUGE thanks to rycomm for flying me up to NW Missouri for a recon flight last Saturday. The mission was a bust, but it was a good day regardless.

Does the truck have a company name and/or other marking on it ?

One thing I noticed that can help set this yellow one apart from others, with all that chrome its different for having a black front bumper and not a chromed one.
Troy, is reward dependent on condition of truck or can I go all "mad max" to get him stopped? I go to work on front street and will keep my eyes open. You gotta watch out for them on front street because the think they own the roads.

Anything with wheels is inherently dangerous. If you are concerned about your safety & well-being, I suggest walking, as a safe alternative

To my knowledge it does not have any markings on it except the DOT #.JLR wrote:Does the truck have a company name and/or other marking on it ?
Palomino Trucking
DOT # 2404057
Note that I changed the title of this post to say MISSING instead of STOLEN. Legally, the rig is not "stolen" because as far as we know, the owner still has the rig. I am the lien holder, and he stopped all communication and has never paid me a penny. We found his Craigslist ad selling the rig with "title problems" and an informant says the truck might have been sold about a month ago. Rumor is the trailer is still in the Princeton area....but there must be 100s of similar trailers up there. VIN, ID, photos, and more info at

Yes, and odds are the guy hasn't changed much on it. It probably still has the Truck & Equipment Sales of KC mud flaps. I look for those huge chrome tanks and the sleeper cab with no windows. Silver front wheel and white rear wheels. It's a very bright yellow--not an orange yellow.Motoracer13 wrote:One thing I noticed that can help set this yellow one apart from others, with all that chrome its different for having a black front bumper and not a chromed one.

Reward paid regardless of condition of truck...or driver.
