A Corbin, I bought it a few years ago. Dean's "Tea Bagged" picture is my bike.bird man wrote:What kind of new seat did you buy DirtFarmer?
Waiting to hear from Eddie today, stopping by on his way home.
Tough day to chore the birds, stay warm.
Old chubby guys on WR's, a picture comes to mind;

Ahhh, pre-mix!!
Re: I did it!
Thanks for the pic of the seat concept. I have been considering one of those. They say that on the wr it raises the seat height a little. I am attempting to set it up for Dena and it is already plenty tall . I have already lowered it as much as possible with the factory link, are there other lowering options ,if I needed to lower it more ?

The Cordin does lower it a little, but it is wider.

Re: I did it!
I doubt it raises it, but with the added width and much better foam it feels like its taller. But you can either order softer foam or you can customize your seat. I sent my KLX seat to them because they weren't making them for KLX's yet, and I wanted it taller towards the front. My KLR seat I ordered and stapled on myself. I wasn't totally happy with it so I removed the cover and shaved off some of the foam to fit my ischium perfectly. So you could shave some off the sides so her feet could touch easier.
Eddie, sorry for the hijack. Just trying to give Birdman some info.

Re: I did it!
I have Eddie's WR.
I'm screwing ice studs in the tires while I'm typing this.
The ponds should be frozen up enough to make a nice little speedway track.
Come ride Eddie's WR on the ice, don't cost nothing.

Re: I did it!
Larry, when you say "link" do you mean the clevis on the end of the shock that you screw in to make the shock shorter?bird man wrote:Thanks for the pic of the seat concept. There is a thing called a "yamalink" that replaces part of the linkage, and makes it even lower too.
I have mine all the way down on the "shock adjuster" and have installed the "yamalink". I slid the forks through the triples as far as they would before they hit the handlebars too. It fits me just right, which means it would probably still be a little tall for Dina. I know on the WR web board, one of the moderators is female, and pretty short. I forget everything she did but I'm pretty sure she put risers on the bars so she could slide the forks up further. It seems like she cut her seat way down too.

Yes the clevis on the end of the shock is what I am talking about. I will have to check out the wr board ,I remember one of the mods was a lady.Bob Morgan wrote:
