I ended up there this weekend and though I'd post of a few photos from the ride from one of the better roads. I found a little mud, but nothing to clog up my fender! I'll say though if you end up there, watch out as there are no stop signs at the gravel/dirt road intersections. Folks don't look or stop.







I've passed this monument at Far West several times over the years and decided to have a look this afternoon. One of the plaques says in 1838 there were about 150 houses and another 15 or 20 business, including two hotels, in Far West. You sure can't tell it now.

Cool, my family home was 1/4 mile east of New York school. Marty and I checked out fall colors riding around Bull Shoals.

It's been years since I've been to Bull Shoals. Did you cross on the Peel Ferry?

This is my Monster on that boat back in '04.

No, the track we rode had a spur running up there right around Bull Shoals Mtn. Some pics here..

Nice day for a ride, a drive in the county isn't so bad, ala dukes-o-hazzard.

It was so beautiful this past weekend. Glad you got out to ride, Dean. I didn't ride, but enjoyed my weekend anyway.

Chris, that area looks pretty interesting. I will have to head up that way and do some exploring sometime.
