Kendall the trails are just a few miles from our house. The jacket you gave me has gotten a LOT of use while I've been out there cutting. The huge pack in the back of the jacket is where I carry the handsaw. Thanks! The black rims are compliment of Plasti Dip. I'm going to recommend you don't waste your time doing it, as I don't think its going to last.

I started messing with the pivot turns out at Luc's on Thursday. Did all the trimming, riding and the video on Friday. So I have a long way to go to feel comfortable with them. They feel much safer than trying a large log crossing though. The last big one I tried was out at School Creek by myself and I ate it. When your back tire is almost at the top of the log and you tip over it doesn't end well when you can't touch the ground. I can laugh about it now.

I'm 100% sure if I tried a pivot turn it would = crash.

Nice vid and very nice looking bike.

Quinton will be fine...he owns his own crutches and wheel chair. First time I blew a ACL in my knee was attempting something "brave" at the spillway riding area. Strapping on the knee braces every time I ride makes me consider potential consequences, ho hum. Add in the fused back and double fused neck and I learned "I can't control accidents, I can control mistakes".

I wish I had heard this quote years ago.

I wanted to go for a dual sport ride today, but I ended up removing my KLR shock and fixing a recall. Felt nice and firm, so I decided to stiffen up the forks to match the rear. Took it for a quick spin and it felt so much better. Glad I finally decided to tackle it!

Then took the RMZ to the trails to mess around. Here's a fun little log crossing I piled up.

Scenic overlook near the Ozark Highland Hiking Trail. (No we didn't ride on the hiking trail, but it would be fun to!)

Kendall you lucky sucker!

I met up with a new guy on forums yesterday and cruised down around Alma. I was surprised how much they were burning given the strong wind.

The beauty of that part of the country is the joy is truly in the journey. One of my most favorite paved roads to ride is that Hwy 215 from Cass to Oark.

Indeed! The ride yesterday was perfect timing for spring. Everything is blooming and greening up perfectly down here right now.

Son and I went to Chadwick on Saturday since he can't make the TARKC ride next weekend. He just purchased a GoPro and I would up load a vid, but my home internet is SLOW...here are a few screen shots for now.

The weather was beautiful and so were the trails (rough and tough as usual). First time he's ridden in a while and he did a fantastic job. Good father and son time! :D

Finally got one vid up on youtube though the quality suffered. The camera angle was also bad on this as it must have gotten bumped down somewhere along the line.
