I took 3 of my brothers down to Newton County, Arkansas and rented a super nice cabin that juts over the edge of the "Arkansas Grand Canyon" S. of Jasper. We enjoyed 4 adventure filled days that included dualsport motorcycles, hiking, waterfalls, caves, kayaking, rock climbing, zip-lines, and a giant cheeseburger.

The Excalibur burger at Ozark Cafe is 1lb of meat and the buns are 2 grilled-cheese sandwiches. 1/2 of it was just about perfect!

Pic from a friends "ride" yesterday at School Creek. He was in a boat.

I drove from PA to KC yesterday. The MO, MS, & OH rivers, and their tributaries, are all as high as I have seen them since 1993(?). I have kayaked at Hillsdale Res. two weeks ago, which is 10-12' above normal pool and not releasing very much due to the flooding downstream. All boat ramps are closed, so we launched from the road shoulder. My WaveRunner and ski boat are still tarped and I'm not sure when I'll get them out. Not to mention the motos.

I rented a 2012 Honda CBR250r the last three days in Kona on the big island of Hawaii. Not the ideal bike for a 6' 200 pound person but I still had a blast and burnt up 500 miles while still doing all the beach stuff with the family.

Jealous of your Hawaii trip, Stimmer! Thanks for sharing!

I was in SD a couple weeks ago and visited Minute National Historic Park (north of Bad Lands National Park). They have a plexiglass covered silo. It museum tells a fascinating story of the worlds recent history.

That's some pretty cool museum. If you get a chance and you like that place, next time in Albuquerque go to the nuke museum at Sandia National Labs on the Kirkland Air Force Base. Actually has some bombs there minus hardware, B52s. As an ex-DOE guy its really neat to see the older stuff and the newer.
