Post pics or video from your ride today
Re: Post pics or video from your ride today
I only bought it to hopefully make me a better enduro bike rider, but I've been having so much fun I've been riding them quite a bit.
Even if you live in the concrete jungle you can benefit from a trials bike. You can break a sweat trying to keep your balance in your garage or doing figure 8's in your driveway.

Tried my hand at a trials event today. It wasn't too bad. Maybe I'm weird but I'd rather trail ride with my son.

Hockeydad and I did some timbersledding this weekend at Vail. Pretty fun until the blizzard white out on Sunday. We spent as much time digging vs riding.

Chris Smith and I are riding the Oklahoma Adventure Loop (or trail). It circles the state and is a fantastic route. We are stopped by the Oklahoma salt flats. Worth seeing.

That was a wasted trip to Milford's School Creek ORV area!

No sir! Rode with old Jim, met a new guy who's been out of the game for 20 years and yesterday was his first day back on his new bike, and met up with a KSU kid from California who took out a bike he just bought. He didn't have any gear so I let him borrow some of mine. Luc came out as well!
The east side was pretty much unrideable, but the west side was good. Rode some freshly cut trails. Not perfect conditions, but it was a great day to be outdoors.

Saturday Greg and I headed to the flint hills We checked out half of a new route I had made this winter that basically circles chase county. The hills are absolutely gorgeous right now , new grass is popping up since spring burn , so everything thing is fresh and green . There are a surprisingly large number of red bud trees and they in bloom.
The fresh green grass and brilliant red/purple red bud blossoms painted the land scape in a refreshing beauty. It has been a long winter and it was so good to go for a long days ride.

Love the regular pics & vids from folks! Thanks especially to savage for fueling this thread. I just returned from a week in the deserts and mountains of NV & Southern CA.
Sean & I did a big figure 8 out of Reno that include bits of the NVBDR and CABDR-South.

A highlight for me was riding through Titus Canyon in the Northern bit of Death Valley.
We rented KTM 1090 Adventures from Nevada Adventure Rentals in Reno, NV.

Those guys are fantastic! 6 days rental including luggage, all the riding gear, tool kit, tubes, and lots of extras was $1,100 (that includes all taxes & fees). I simply shipped my camping gear to his location and flew with no checked baggage for $300 RT. I chose to use all his riding gear (helmet, boots, pants, jacket, gloves). They rent all the camping gear, too, if you want.
If you choose to go out there, and have limited time, the CABDR is mucho better than the NVBDR.

Nice Photoshop work on that bike pic! Must have been difficult to Photoshop out the Starbucks and replace with that nature scene.
