My son and I went to School Creek on Saturday...we planned the ride, cancelled the ride because weather was looking iffy, then last minute changed our minds again and went. Very glad we did as once the weather cleared it was a perfect day.

Wish I had taken more pics...these are all Brad on my 300.

Watched the whole video, Luc. NICE loop on the home property! I tried to build a moto loop on my Overland Park subdivision lot, but the police shut me down. Turns out neither my HOA or Overland Park noise ordinances and zoning allow me to build motorcycle single-track on my 15,000 sf yard.

Cool! Were the trails grossly overgrown or has some trail maintenance occurred in the last 60 days? I weakly tried to get some momentum behind a School Creek Trail Maintenance Day.

The trails could definitely use maintenance though there was plenty of good riding. Some of the trails were overgrown which not only made them tough to navigate, but hard to find. I blocked one highly accessible trail (with a downed tree) that had washed out so bad it was pretty much a sheer cliff. The drop would was probably 40 to 50 feet and would not end well if someone went over.

Nice pics Eddie. I would think it would be difficult to get that big bike out of the trenches.

Luc when do you need us come out there and help you knock the weeds down? Looks great!

I'm ready to go to Milford but I'm waiting for the weeds to die off some so you can actually see around the bend.

First post and first trip to CO on my KLR with one of my friends. Link to YouTube of still shots and GoPro videos below. We trailered the bikes from KC to my uncles place north of Denver and spent the week riding passes from Denver to Ouray and back. I also have GPS tracks split by day if anyone is interested.

Here's a post that's not worthy of its own thread. I did a little trail riding today. Notice anything?

Aw, man...I was drooling over that bike on craigslist either last night or just this morning!! How does she go? The asking price was low enough I thought there might be something wrong with it.
I want to ride it.

Rode it for about an hour, she seems solid, you can take it for a test ride when we meet up at your place or Luc's again.

ADV Inmate Redburn (Marty) and I rode a track from the Arkansas SLAP thread south of Bull Shoals saturday. We camped at the ghost town of Rush, fall colors were at their peak, like riding through a kalidescope.

Hey beans, those pics are cool. I had never heard of Rush. Know anything about it's story?

A little bit, I first found it on ghosttowns.com, and we set out to find it from the ADV SLAP rally at Dawt Mill in 08. It got pretty rugged trying to come in what I guess was the old road, so we circled around and came in from Hwy 14. The campground is right on the buffalo river past the ghost town a couple miles.

So after putting many hours into the trails over the winter, I've been out there a few times in this nice weather and ridden them to test them out and try and help start breaking them in. (That and taking the kids out to get some experience on their bikes) While doing so, that will bring me to other little trails that I see have potential. They've either been overgrown with seedlings, or have a bunch of evergreen branches growing across the trail. So this weekend I put my foldup handsaw in my pack along with a couple cameras and went out and had a blast! I would ride to the areas where I wanted to open up, park the bike and hike around and trim. Then test ride, and repeat. After 3.5 hours I was spent. Had a great time and worked up a little sweat in the process.
Here's the results:

Where are those trails at? Looks like a fun place to ride!

That RM-Z is looking good- I like those black rims! Sweet pivot wheelie turns too!

I noticed those pivot wheelie turns, too. Looks like you been working on skeelz. 8) I tried to do one of those once in a spot where if I did not do a clean 180, things would go bad. Well...things went bad! I need to work on it some more. 8)
