Anyone got any first hand testimony or thoughts?

I've been hunting for a more touring based bike for some time, and while I am not dead-set and hellbent on buying one - I did come across this little gem this morning.

It is a 2000 K 1200 LT, with 56K miles and new tires. Owner wants 6000, but, I could probably talk him down a bit if push came to shove.

Anyone have any thoughts on this particular bike? Ridden one? Know anyone whose had one? Heard good things, bad things, etc. Heard of any issues this particular model has that I would need to look out for?
