Singletrack in Lone Jack

I took the gopro out to my parents a few weekends back. This is the kind of terrain I grew up with in my back yard. We got 33 acres with trails cut all through it. This is just one short loop. It is steeper than it looks. The video sucks. One of these days I will have true broadband.

Not trying to tease... I just got a gopro a few months back and haven't used it much. Problem is my Cass County internet access is so lame I have to step on the video quality so much just to get it to upload to youtube overnight.
Might be up for taking a few Rideforum members for a ride out there some nice weekend day. I doubt there is better single track riding in Jackson County.

Cool. I'm sure you could find a few of us to ride out and enjoy the woods.
I put my comment in the wrong order, BTW. Should have been:
"Very nce.
Teasing us, though.
"

I grew up in Oak Grove and learned to ride on very similar terrain. I can catch a ride with Safiri if you open up your trails to outsiders...

How old are you? I went to school in Oak Grove. My name is Jim Lewis. My dad is Glen. My whole family is from there. So I am sure you know some of us. I'm sure we can work something out sometime.

Such personnel questions… I will be 51 this month and my family has lived in Oak Grove since it was known as Lick Skillet. My name is Daryl Perry, and the family business was the Wayne Perry insurance agency. I would love to come out some time and ride.

Jim, Daryl,
Sounds like a fun day. Let me know when you do this. If you want anyone else along I'd see if I could make it as well. Perhaps even get Curado (Mark) to come along as well. He is in Raytown.

Not trying to intrude, just figured you maybe you might be a high school buddy or someone who knew my dad well. In which case you would not even need me along to go riding. If he knew you I would bet he would let you ride whenever you like.
Yeah I know of Wayne and Betty. Betty does\did live right down the street from my grandmother on Park. I also grew up with Mark and Brian Perry which I would guess are related to you somehow. I am 40 and my family has been in Oak Grove for over 100 years as well. Lewis and Davis are their names. In fact my grandmother has 200 acres out on Golden Belt towards Bates City were we ride on occasion as well. However, we ride there so infrequently the trails have all probably grown in by now.
Next time I know I am going down some weekend to ride I will try and hit you up before hand.
