KLR Swingarm and linkage maintenance
KLR Swingarm and linkage maintenance
Decided to tear in to the swingarm and shock linkage seeing that the weather is being difficult, figured I would have some time if things didn't go well. From start to finish I was around 2.5 hours and sweeping the garage floor! This KLR is the easiest bike to work on! Yeah Hoo! Not riding causes the old "farkle" bill to go up too. IMS pegs, Eagle brake bracket, IMS shifter, Dual Star radiator guard on ebay, gee wiz, I have got to exercise some self control!

Maint. is very easy on the KLR. I only did the swingarm when me and Speedjunkie (Mike) got into some deep water and muck on the way back from the Stampede last year. Pretty much the only time I'll ever do that type of maint., or during the winter when I'm bored.
