Congrats Troy. Hope it doesn't take too long to get it. The wait may be agonizing.

I have the VIN # for my 2008 TE450! I'll be buying insurance tomorrow and picking up the bike in Springfield, IL this Friday! I'll be making a 3 day weekend trip out of it to visit wife's family up in Illinois, so don't be lined up at my house Friday evening to see this amazing machine.

I plan to be home by Sun evening. So you all can make appointments to see the TE450 after that.

And what is an appropriate gift for this visitation and viewing? A KTM Wannabe T-shirt? Gasoline and burning torches for the DR350?

What is your address and is it near a gas station?

Stu

Nah, he sent the DR off to Wichita to ride with the BTK boys and girls!

Seems even an old DR that Troy used, abused, and drowned can find more life!

Does KTM stand for "Keeping up with Troy's Motorcycle"?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Fact is, I could be riding the hottest bike on the planet and Stu could be riding my old DR350, and there is no way I would be able to catch him in the woods.

Btw, I soon will be riding the hottest bike on the planet. 8)

No.

Nobody.

The answer to the unasked question: They are (were) Swedish, they don't need service! Oh wait, now they are Italian/German ... I guess Troy will be calling.

Gee, You couldn't even wait to unload the thing before you got on it and snapped a picture? You are not kidding about the smile, That's a kids smile if I ever saw one. Have fun, be safe, and don't lose the smile when you put the first scratch or ding in it. It's a dirtbike after all.

That smile should be the web site's avatar. What it is all about.

Hey, Doug! Good to know you are going to be down there! We old guys can bring up the rear (be back there with the beer cooler...we aren't dummies.)

First off - sweet bike and may yu always have that smile shile you are riding it.

Second - Stu! I seem to remember you bringing up the rear on the way back from the dunes in WY. If by rear, you mean just out of the roost of the guys who think they are racing, or if you mean so far ahead that you are the first one back for a beer, I'll buy it. If you mean actually staying all the way at the back of the pack... nope.

Stu's mind tells him...slow down you are getting old and it takes a long time to heal...but his right hand is not listening!

The left side of the brain squabbling with the right wrist again.... Yer right, Jeff, and it ends in blatant throttle twisting. At least I don't suffer from incapacitations resulting from an excess of wine, women, food and worry like you!
