Pull up a couch. It's cool in the Lounge. Just remember to be a good neighbor.

I posted that on the BMW Forum and got a light reprimand.
/ mod hat on /

Let's keep this a little on the tamer side. It's OK, to a degree, to rib them and us, but it needs to be kept to the standards being maintained on the forum.

Thanks for considering that.

I was pushing the envelope. I better back off. I might get banned if I mention a Harley and oil leak in the same post.

Wow. That is a really tame video that most any Harley Guy would think is funny. They run a tight ship over on that BMW forum I guess.

As a former Harley Guy I am so offended by this outrageous video.

I am at least 5ft 9in tall AND I ONLY drink alcohol and drop my bikes while working on them in the garage :!: :!:

OK, let's be careful about the Harley stuff. Along with 2 trials bikes, a dualsport Suzuki, and a cafe build, I also have my first HD! It's different and interesting in a HD (heavy duty) way. I don't drink, wear a full face helmet, and normally an Aerostich, so no one ever waves at me except the metric cruiser riders who are confused anyway. At 6'2" the low seats are the thing that bothers me the most. Kind of like sitting on the toilet!

[metric cruiser riders who are confused anyway. ]

What's confusing about wanting to ride a more reliable, more powerful, water cooled shaft or chain drive, at half the price - bike? the song says it all

There's a saying about imitation and flattery. I don't claim to be an HD lover, but a metric cruiser is not an HD. They are more modern, efficient, and cheaper, granted but why not lighter weight and better suspended? The Japanese also tried to build Ducatis in the past, RC51 Honda and some Suzuki models come to mind. They may have been more modern or whatever but where are they now? Ducati is thriving and the Japanese are doing what they do best, not building a Ducati.
Just my opinion.

I don't always ride my BMW....

...But when I do, I prefer to take my Falcon along for the ride.

Who builds a bike with a water cooled shaft or chain drive? Is the chain totally immersed in coolant? Obviously I need to get out more often...... 8)

And yes, I never leave home without my falcon.......

Btw, I improved YouTube embedding for this forum. Now, when creating a post, you just click the YouTube button then paste the video URL between the tags.
