I just learned about this show. I don't know if it's any good, but the premise sounds great! I've set my DVR. I missed the show tonight.

I've been waiting for "The Road Less Travelled" movie to come out. In the meantime, I'm on their newsletter list, and the tip about "Epic Ride" was in their latest installment. The movie is a couple brothers doing the TAT (Trans-America Trail).

Well, in the latest newsletter from the roadlesstraveled team, they tell me they are no longer trying to turn their story into a movie, but rather they will be shopping the network to make a TV series out of their epic journey. They feel this will allow them to better tell the story, and I agree.

Dang-it Troy. I was having such a productive day here at work until I read your thread and got caught up in the ride report. Got to Day 22 before my conscious slapped me upside the head.
Congrats on the new addition to the family.

The official trailer is finally completed. They got Ricky Johnson to narrate. Instead of pushing to make a movie, the boys have decided to try to make the show into a TV mini-series (like Long Way Around).

Wow, this is great! The kids just watched it with me and now it's "when are we going to get motorcycles?"

Today's newsletter from the RLT team says the "Final Trailer is completed". Here it is:

Now they are out pitching their mini-series to find a home for the show. I look forward to watching this thing someday.
